Hi everyone,

Thank you so much to those who have reached out over the last week and shared encouragement on Barry's wall. We are very grateful for your messages and support for our family.

We know that a lot of what is on everyone’s mind is “how is Barry?” Throughout the course of the last few weeks he has been sleeping a lot and coughing a lot. The coughing has been aggressive which has made it very difficult for him to hold longer conversations. He has been resting at home and going back and forth from appointments as the doctors have been figuring out the best course of action. He is not at a place where he can have a ton of visitors or do a lot of communicating (which as you all know is very difficult for him). Thank you so much to everyone who has written to him - it’s truly the best way for him to accept communication right now. Reading these messages has brought a lot of joy in a very tough time.

Barry will be getting another CT scan and a port inserted next Tuesday at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. The plan is to start chemotherapy later next week.

Thank you all for your kindness and patience as we continue to navigate this. We continue to pray for miraculous healing and are grateful for the many people who are joining us in this journey.

Dear Goldberg family, thank you for the update. It is good to hear that Barry will start treatment next week.

We love you very much and thank you for everything you have done to change our lives. My family would not be what we are today if it was not for the opportunity Barry provided to me many years back.

Big hugs from Vendula, Kim, Luki and Tomi
