Hello from Wyoming! Every morning before heading to work, I stop by my grandmother's to drink a cup of coffee with her and pray together. For the last few weeks, we have been praying over your case. We have seen cancer healed in our own family and we are believing for your total recovery. We speak out James 1:2-4 & 12 and ask that God would strengthen you to persevere and receive the crown of life that He has promised. We also pray 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, so that you would not lose hope. For "we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen." (NLT) Finally, we pray my favorite verses over you, ones that carried me through my own battle with sickness, Psalm 73:23-28. "Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. For behold, those who are far from you shall perish; you put an end to everyone who is unfaithful to you. But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all your works" (ESV). Though we have never met, I want you to know that my family is standing with you in Christ. We pray you would never forget God's nearness and the love of those surrounding you. May God be the strength of your heart today and every day after!
