Dear Barry,
I was saddened to hear about your illness. You are on my heart, and the McSheas are thinking of you and praying for you. You have always been so kind to our family. Even though you are a successful D1 Coach, you always took the time to see how we were doing. Kyle ( my youngest now 15yo) and I were talking about the way that you sat with him on the bleachers after American played at Loyola,, and taught him to tie his shoes.! Caring for a small child after coaching D! volleyball . Gods wisdom, kindness, and love radiates from you.. Praying for peace, strength,, and healing for you and your beautiful family.

So sorry that you’re going through this but I know that you’re going to come out on top! I’m sure I’ve never said it enough but thanks so much for everything you’ve done for me personally, and for my family. You are in our prayers!

Barry- you got this!! If you got any questions call me or write me. I loved popsicles at night - I had many head covers to keep my head warm. I’m great at painting on eyebrows- I lost all my hair!! You will save time shaving that beard of yours!! And very important- drink bone broth!! Best source of nutrition there is!!! Your energy will get better - but sleep !! Keep feet warm - I was also told to keep a journal - I started - then read it a year later- too depressing - not my gig!! Love you - call or write me when ever. Love to family.
