Barry, you were my first mentor in volleyball. You helped shape me into the coach I am today. So if you need anything at all as you navigate your cancer, I am here for you my friend. 800 wins....dude you are amazing! Congratulations.

Congrats on 800 wins coach!! Amazing accomplishment! The 2013 Final 16 season is one of my favorite professional experiences of my career! I have a little girl of my own that will definitely be introduced to volleyball!

Thinking of you and sending positive vibes your way. You have great family and friends around you and I know they are helping you find strength on days you need it. I'm hoping to bring my kids out to see a game this season, but whether or not we make it to a game, we'll be rooting you on.

Just read that you are starting your 33rd season at AU. Wow! That’s incredible.
Obviously your success on the court(almost 800 wins) is amazing but your leadership in the Athletic Department and in the AU community is an even bigger legacy.
You have touched so my lives and like me I’m sure all of them are pulling for you you in your current battle.
We are all sending our prayers and positive thoughts to help you beat this terrible disease.
