Praying for you Barry and the family. God is good and faithful.

Miss seeing your face in the gym Barry. I always enjoy talking with you. Your passion for the game is truly infectious.
Capitol Hill looked like another huge success this year. You must be so proud. One of my fondest memories was seeing your smile greeting athletes and their families as they enter the convention center doors a few years back. Seeing what you and your family have built is truly inspiring.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Hi Barry -
We are all thinking of you, and praying for you and your wonderful family! Congratulations on having the new court named in your honor! "Barry Goldberg Court" is very befitting for a man who has spent so much time and energy in gyms, guiding student-athletes and helping them achieve their dreams! We are with you, Barry, Bonnie, Arielle, Jared and Mitch!

Shalom Barry! We are continuing to pray for you and that the Lord continues to give you strength during this season you are in. You are an inspiration to so many people.

Isaiah 41:10 - So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Hey Barry, I'm pretty sure the Barry Goldberg Volleyball Court would make a major upgrade to any arena...it sure is nice to see it will shine at American. I enjoyed all of Arielle's posts from the Capital Hill Classic. Have to admit, it made me so nostalgic remembering that first year. You and Bonnie had such a great vision for what you wanted to see happen in D.C. Who could have imagined back then what the event has turned into now. You could...and you did. Such a feeling to see that all these years later, that vision has evolved and spread throughout the D.C. area and the nation. What a legacy. I always enjoy your positive outlook, calm voice speaking reason and truth. These are traits that definitely worked their magic, Barry magic, to nurture the city, the local support, to coach the team that is Washington D.C. to another major win. Congratulations Coach. Sending you the biggest hug, and Aloha from afar where your kindness and influence continue to impact us all. Love, Lori

Sending you a message of strength from the Forest hills volleyball evenings we shared together in high school

Nate

Barry and family, Hope all is well. Jeff Mallinger and I are in the nascent stages of putting together an "Unofficial" Peabody '80 reunion the weekend of June 9-11. Hoping there's no volleyball tourney with classes over at that time. I do not have an email address or contact info and would love to hear from you and get your contact info so as to keep you updated on location / cost/ events /etc. It would be GREAT to see you.
Yours,
Scott

Barry,

I am thinking of you right now and sending you strength and love. I can't wait to bring my daughter to the new "Barry Goldberg Court" (wow!) and tell her stories of some of my favourite years.
Keep fighting Barry. We are with you

Barry, since I was 14 years old and we played Pony League together I’ve always known you to be a fighter and a leader. I looked up to you as an older kid that wanted to compete, to win, and win with preparation and grace. Whether you know it or not, you taught me some important lessons that helped my already good game in those days. Keep fighting and know that you are always in the thoughts and prayers of the Friedman family. Reach out when you are able.
