Coach - my family and I are praying for you. Thank you for being who you are and who you’ve always been. Through your leadership and guidance, you encouraged me to always be myself no matter what. Thank you for caring for each and every one of your players like family. You have left an indelible mark on my life and I can never say thank you enough. You’ve got this! Love, Cynammon

Barry,
6 weeks after Meagan was born, the doctors removed a quart of fluid from my pericardial sac and a half quart off a lung. I totally understand the exhaustion you must have been feeling. The only thing that kept my fluid from returning was 80 mg/day of prednisone. Later, methotrexate to help get me off the prednisone. Hang in there! We’re praying for your strength, wisdom for the doctors, and God’s peace and presence for you and your family as you all walk through your health challenges. You are loved and appreciated by us and so many more!! Hugs to you all!

Coach, I wish more than anything that I could be there in person to do for you exactly what you did for me so many times throughout college... just sit down next to you, put my hand on your shoulder, and tell you that "I'm with you all the way". Those words have carried me through some of the toughest moments of my life and I have no doubt that they've done the same for countless others. You are the reason so many of us have found strength in the midst of our struggles and I hope that you feel wrapped in that same unconditional love and support right now. We are all with you - all the way. I love you so much and I can't wait to get back to cracking each other up when you're feeling much better <3
All my love, Vela

Barry,
You and Bonnie have such a special place in my heart. I was so sorry to read the article and hear about your sickness. I feel honored to have been able to see all that you both have achieved in the years that I have known you. Congratulations on the honor of the gym!! Barry, I remember the first “official” time I met you at a regional tournament. We were all surprised you were there and you came up to me and shook my hand. Then you taught me how to shake a hand properly with a good, solid handshake. That has always stayed with me and I pride myself in making sure that everyone I meet gets a good
