Dear Barry and Bonnie,
Please know that you are being held up in prayer. When I read the update this morning, the following Psalm came to mind. "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help! My help cometh from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. " Psalm 121:1-2.
In the early mornings when I go out to retrieve the newspaper I look to the east, toward the hills beyond your home. There is often a beautiful sunrise to greet me, a sunrise that you probably can't see because your house sits in a bit of a valley. It reminds me that God is still in control and he has a plan, and he is still working even if we can't see it. Praying for wisdom for the doctors and healing for you.

Barry - my wife and I had a late lunch with Brother Joe Silipo and his wife yesterday after my visit at Hillman CC. He does not use a computer so I will call and give him an update today. You are on our church prayer list, and you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We pray for you and your medical team and certainly hope for your progress in this "battle." Blessings from an old coach.
