Barry had a great month of June and was able to travel to Orlando for AAUs and Indy for GJNC. It was amazing to see so many people in the volleyball community over the past few weeks.
His scans up until this point have remained stable which is more great news!
Once Barry got home from his trip, he had his 8th round of chemo. Unfortunately, he is having a bad reaction to the drugs and will be admitted to Hopkins today. He hasn’t been able to eat or drink much since this infusion due to the chemotherapy burning his esophagus and digestive tract. After a call with oncology this morning, they have decided to stop treatment. We are not sure what the next steps will be but all focus is on relieving his pain and getting him back to a place where he is comfortable.
We are asking for continued prayers as he heads to the hospital today ♥️
